Summary:
"To solve societal challenges and meet sustainability goals its vital science connects with communities, Community Science Exchange (CSE) is a platform sharing best practices on making closer connections between researchers and community members. The journal Community Science is an open access peer-reviewed publication for scientific findings of community science. It offers researchers and community practitioners a place to publish and share their work.
The theme of Open Access Week this year is Open for Climate Justice. We are excited to interview Jean Schensul, Deputy Editor of Community Science and the Community Science Exchange, to find out more about the role they play to share new knowledge related to climate change. Jean is Founding Director and Senior Scientist at the Institute for Community Research and adjunct professor, Department of Public Health Sciences, UCONN School of Medicine."
