Farewell to @WoW!ter – Wouter Gerritsma (11 March 1963 – 21 June 2016)

"Wouter started his career as researcher Tropical Crops at Wageningen University (WUR), after which he became an Information specialist at the library of the same University. As from 2013 he continued his career as team leader Research Support. He was passionate about unimpeded access to academic information and was involved in the Open Access movement at an early stage. More in general he was an “early adopter”, extremely active on different social media and with a superb knowledge of research analytics, rankings and impact factors...."
