Drowned in the Decree Law of 8 August 2013 , was finally approved by the House October 3, 2013 and converted with amendments by Law 7 October 2013, n. 112 ....The success was in fact created by the thrust of the supporters of Open Access in Italy, by the Task Force of the National Commission MEDOANET project MIUR for OA , the group Open Access Group of the Commission of Libraries CRUI   to the Italian Library Association ....The text approved provides for an embargo of 18 months for the publications of the scientific-technical-medical and 24 months for the areas of humanities and social sciences: a very distant from the 6/12 months requested by the European recommendation of 12 July 2012 ...."
