Summary:

"As part of Harvard Library’s month-long celebration of International Open Access Week 2021, we conducted interviews with members of the open community. This series, called In Practice: Interviews with Practitioners of Open, highlights the work of practitioners and scholars in the areas of scholarly communication, fee-free open-access publishing, open educational resources, open data, and beyond.

We aim for these interviews to provide a glimpse into how members of the open community approach their work, develop their goals, and identify the factors they take to be critical to realizing a more open and equitable future for scholarly pursuits—a future in which we all may participate in activities of discovery and access, creation and sharing, remixing and rebuilding. ..."
