Frontiers and Max Planck Society sign publishing cooperation agreement for open access journals

"Frontiers Media, an open access publisher based in Switzerland, and the Max Planck Society (Max-Planck-Gesellschaft), Germany’s leading basic research organization, announced today that they have signed a funding agreement to support scientific authors who submit research papers to all Frontiers journals. Effective November 1, 2011, all publication charges for research articles submitted by authors affiliated with any Max Planck Institute will be directly and fully funded by the Max Planck Society. This institutional agreement is valid for all current and future Frontiers journals...."
