Summary:

"The JISC invites tenders to conduct a study of the benefits of Open Access (OA) to scholarly research outputs to private sector businesses in the UK. The aims of the study are: [1] To present the best evidence available of the benefits of OA to commercial companies. [2] To quantify, where possible, any financial benefits that have accrued. [3] To provide case studies of businesses which have realised benefits from OA. [4] Total funding of £50,000 (including VAT, travel and subsistence) is available for this project. The deadline for proposals is 12 noon UK time on Monday 14 March 2011...."
