Licensing and sharing activity data

"There is much that can be gained from sharing activity data in order to gain a wider picture. For instance, the SALT project believes that information from 10 University libraries would probably be sufficient to provide a useful recommender system for all universities based on their methodology. In order to share data you will need to ensure that you have either anonymised the data or requested suitable permissions from the data subjects.
