Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little recently signed the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Science and Humanities (Berlin 9), which affirms that Kansas researchers’ findings are available to the public. The University of Kansas is the first public university to have an open-access policy to information, and one of the first American universities to sign the Berlin 9.
