"We asked authors for their general views on how important Open Access was to them. 75% of participants said they think it is ‘very important’ or ‘important’ to be able to offer their work free online to a global audience even if that means the author pays....Overall, only 2.4% participants thought the Open Access model was unimportant or not important at all...."
