National Institutes of Health public access policy and the University of Michigan Libraries' role in assisting with depositing to PubMed Central

Connotea Imports 2012-07-31

Summary:

Conclusion: "The UM Libraries’ approach is a model for similar services at other institutions: providing support for researchers in assisting with deposits, giving authoritative answers to their questions about compliance, and guiding them through the deposit system when they undertake doing their own deposit. This endeavor continues to involve collaboration across disciplines and involves multiple UM Libraries in assisting researchers in understanding and adhering to the NIH public access policy."
