Uberblic Release

Connotea Imports 2012-07-31

Summary:

"Many organizations have started to open up their databases and make their data available as RDF and Linked Data....However, after working in this field for three years now, helping to create DBpedia and bootstrap the Linking Open Data project, the lack of an integration service tying together all that linked data into a more coherent experience became more and more obvious to me [Georgi Kobilarov]. Uberblic.org is a project to create that integrated experience. It provides a single point of access to data reconciled from data sources on the web....Today, we are glad to release our first version to the public, with initial data integrated from Wikipedia, Geonames, BBC Music and BBC Programmes. We are starting with these few data sources for now in order to get feedback from the community as early as possible, but will soon start loading many more sources...."
