[From Google's English] "On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Declaration of Messina, Università degli Studi di Messina host, on 3 and 4 November 2014, a national conference on the topic of Open Access. The Conference, which was sponsored by the CRUI, aims to be a new opportunity for reflection and discussion within the community Open Access Italian, working for years in the promotion of open access, in the firm conviction of the great opportunities that it represents for the promotion of scientific research. Great attention will be paid to institutional policies for the storage of the products of research in the Archives of Institutional Open, but do not miss the action on open access and re-use of research data and the initiatives of Open Access publishing. This will be discussed with guest speakers Significant among these, Celina Ramjoué the European Commission, who will speak on the Horizon 2020, Bernard Rentier, Rector of Liege, which will illustrate the positive impact of OA policies adopted by its university, and yet Cameron Neylon of Public Library of Science and Pierre Mounier of Open Edition. The issue of institutional policy, with a more political approach, will be devoted to the Round Table of Rectors of Italian Universities and Delegates Rectorial that have adopted institutional Open Access policies ..."
