Summary:

(Vancouver Sun)

An alliance of six British Columbia first nations formed to oppose Enbridge’s proposed Northern Gateway pipeline is warning the company against trespassing in their traditional territories as Enrbidge seeks temporary permits for drilling and tree removal.

In a news release issued this morning, the Yinka Dene Alliance said it has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Enbridge. The alliance says its members' territories make up 25 per cent of the proposed pipeline route.
