On Sunday evening KTVA-TV reporter Charlo Greene dramatically quit her job live on air.

In the segment she announced: “Now everything you have heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy towards freedom and fairness which begins with legalising cannabis in Alaska.

"And as for this job, well not that I have a choice but… fuck it, I quit.”

The station later apologised for her language and confirmed her employment had been terminated.

Following the event, Greene posted a link on the Alaska Cannabis Club’s Facebook page to a statement explaining her actions.

Here's the sad thing: it's working. Polling shows the majority of Alaskans, who were in favor of the initiative at the start of the year, are now against it.
