"This post is to cover for a period of Maternity Leave within the Library Services Scholarly Communications Management team which has a wide variety of responsibilities including implementing, promoting and managing open access (OA) services. As a member of a team dedicated to progressing the College’s OA responsibilities you will have knowledge of this area and an understanding of the wider policy and funding issues informing OA.

You will have good administrative experience, and strong communication and ICT skills to assist the team’s work with academic staff and researchers to publish their work on open access. You will produce statistical reports/analyses and contribute to the promotion and advocacy of OA events and initiatives.

Your organisational, presentational and interpersonal skills, methodical approach to work, and good eye for detail will be essential as part of a team committed providing an excellent service to customers. Previous experience of working in an academic environment, or for an open access service or repository, is desirable but not essential."
