Summary:

"Reporting to the Scholarly Communications Librarian, the Digital Scholarship Repository Specialist will support the ongoing development of institutional repository (IR) services at FSU Libraries, including initiatives related to outreach, content recruitment, project management, staff training, and software development.

Coordinates and optimizes technical workflows for repository submission review and processing.

Responds to repository related comments, complaints, and requests from library staff and the campus community. Provides training sessions and information on submission process for library staff and content creators (faculty, staff, and students).

Assists web developers in creating applications to enhance repository functionality and automate harvesting of FSU scholarship from internal and external systems.

Manages content recruitment partnerships and pilot projects with academic departments and units. Coordinates digital outreach to faculty to provide information about and promote compliance with FSU's new Open Access Policy.

Gather user experience feedback through UX testing sessions and satisfaction surveys.

Develops a comprehensive Institutional Repository (IR) assessment plan; evaluating deposit, download, and other usage statistics to produce annual impact reports.

Monitors trends in the delivery on IR services in higher education, including emerging issues, risks, opportunities, and resources. Performs other duties as assigned."
