As an industry leader in Open Access book publishing, social media enables us to connect with our authors, editors, and other scholarly and academic publishing professionals. We are looking for the right individual to help us continue to make our mark via social media and help us promote our researchers, our brand and Open Access.

Job Description:

- Planning, organization and development of a social media strategy for the publisher (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media networks related to scientific publishing, etc.)

- Maintaining and expanding relationships with the authors and editors of our scientific books on social media networks

- Building and maintaining relationships with readers/users on social media networks

- Responding to inquiries received through social media channels, communication with readers/users/authors/editors regarding content being discussed and shared

- Development of brand awareness

- Building media partnerships (science news websites and international news websites)

- Content creation, management and implementation by defining and utilizing an editorial calendar

- Initiation, collection, and analysis of news regarding publishing and scholarly publishing and Open Access

- Collection and analysis of user feedback

- Monitoring the activities of competitors through all social media channels and preparation of reports outlining these activities

- Implementation of new ideas for digital communication activities and social media projects

- Other activities such as copywriting and online PR"
