Summary:
"The aim of this role is to acquire high quality submissions to academic journals across a range of subject areas. The Marketing Executive will develop and share in-depth knowledge of author needs and motivations towards publishing, and will work closely with colleagues in sales, editorial, and production to develop author-centred academic publishing services.
Key Accountabilities
- Driving submissions of quality articles for peer review to grow revenues for journals in specific subjects globally
- Developing locally appropriate messages that synthesize global themes for T&F publishing
- Supporting local sales teams with institutional agreements for open access publishing
- Understanding the needs and desires of academic authors
- Suggesting new product and service ideas to widen T&F’s provision of author services"
