Mellon Foundation Michigan Publishing, the parent of University of Michigan Press, has been leading a consortium of academic publishers to build a publishing platform capable of going beyond the book. The platform, branded as Fulcrum and hosted by the U-M Library, presents audiovisual materials, 3D models, and other complex digital objects in close relationship with the text."
