Summary:

"Predatory publishers prey on scholars by charging them a fee to publish or present their work. Publishing with a predatory publisher can be expensive but also career-damaging. In this workshop, library experts will help graduate students from all departments differentiate between predatory and legitimate publishers. We will discuss strategies for assessing publication venues and tactics for selecting the right publisher for your scholarship."
