"Scientific Data, part of the Nature Research family of journals, is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal for descriptions of valuable research datasets. We are embedded within the larger research data team at Springer Nature.

We aim to promote effective research data sharing and credit for researchers that share, through our work on Scientific Data, our flagship data journal, and other data-related projects in the group.

The Senior Publishing Assistant candidate will work closely with the publishing team in the editorial and production management of Scientific Data, implementing workflows to ensure good peer-review practises, efficient production processes and high levels of service to authors to ensure rapid publication. This role will entail significant communication with the scientific community, the Scientific Data Advisory Panel and the Editorial Board."
