"Xavier University of Louisiana, a historically Black and Catholic University, seeks an enthusiastic professional for the position of Scholarly Communication and Instruction Librarian. This is a 12-month non-tenure-track faculty position. This individual will be primarily responsible for the planning, implementation, assessment, and promotion of a Library-led campus-wide institutional repository; designing, teaching and assessing information literacy curricula in a variety of disciplines; providing research consultations to students, faculty and staff; and, working collaboratively across the Library to support various initiatives including open access, open educational resources, digital humanities, the maintenance of a culture of assessment and improvement, and the re-envisioning of the Reference and Access Services model."
