"To mark International Open Access Week, transcript will make 200 titles from its list in political and social sciences available in Open Access through Knowledge Unlatched’s (KU) new service offerings. Starting in 2018 transcript will also make all new publications in political sciences freely available to readers through KU’s crowd funding model. The publisher holds a leading position in the discipline in the German market and is one of the first publishers worldwide to follow demands from the library world to open up its complete lists in order to help foster research."
