Event: Launching Open Access Books at UC Davis

"UC Davis is one of 12 charter participants in a national effort to increase the availability of open access options for book authors. The library, with support from the College of Letters and Science and the Office of the Provost, is committing to a five-year pilot program that will provide grants to cover authors’ costs associated with publishing open access books. With an impressive list of participating presses, the initiative is a big step in bringing open access options to campus book authors."
