"The American Geophysical Union has announced plans to launch a “preprint server” that will host studies and research results prior to peer review and full publication. The server, which is called the Earth and Space Science Open Archive (or ESSOAr) is the latest in a series of preprint servers like arXiv, bioRxiv, and ChemRxiv, which encompass a variety of disciplines."
