"The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) is organising an international conference on ‘Developmental interventions and open learning for empowering and transforming society’ at the NEDFi Convention Centre here on December 16 and 17. The main objective of the conference is to develop concrete ideas on the role and status of developmental interventions and open learning in addressing relevant social challenges. It is expected that the conference would explore the issues faced by the developmental service providers across social sectors and open learning institutions in imparting stated benefits to the societies."
