lkfitz's bookmarks 2018-02-13

Summary:

Abstract: "US copyright law protects authors and publishers. The law has not been updated in decades despite dramatic changes in the production and distribution of printed and digital scholarly books and articles. What was the evolution of current copyright law? What calls for copyright reform are now gaining traction? Where should the scholarly publishing community come down on the question of reform? This paper provides some recommendations in response to these questions."
