"Draheim, the vice chair of the Senate higher education committee, introduced a bill last month that directs the Minnesota State system to develop plans to use more affordable textbooks in college courses and report back to the Legislature next year. The bill is expected to pass out of committee and could be included in a higher education bill later this session."
