"An academic publisher with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years is looking to recruit a Managing Editor for their Open Access team.

The Managing Editor will manage the peer review and editorial development of leading Open Access STM journals with the following key responsibilities;

• Making decisions on individual manuscripts
• Generating ideas for special issues and inviting and appointing Guest Editors
• Commissioning review article manuscripts
• Attending relevant conferences
• Engaging in the manuscript referral process and liaising with authors
• Liaising with Marketing in the development of Special and Topic Collections
• Promoting journals via social media
• Reporting on journal performance against budget."
