Summary:

"RCUK’s new Open Access Practitioners Group met for the first time on 4 October 2016. The Group has been established to share best practice, discuss issues and provide sector insight to improve the implementation of the RCUK Policy on Open Access.

Membership comprises representatives of the higher education sector from a diverse range of backgrounds who are already familiar with open access policy, including those who are closely involved in the practicalities of implementing the policy within their organisations. This includes colleagues working in libraries and Research Offices from different types of institutions to ensure we have a range of different perspectives represented on the group. The RCUK Open Access Practitioners Group will liaise with the proposed Universities UK Open Access Working Group to ensure a joined up approach."
