Join us for an informal session on open access publishing with Yung Murphy from the Publications Division of the American Chemical Society.  Ms. Murphy will lead a dialogue and answer questions about the growing trend of open publishing and open data in the chemical sciences, which should be of interest to all current and future authors, editors, and users of the scientific literature.  

 

The Open initiative is all about removing barriers to the literature by finding new models to pay for the publication and peer review process, and it’s being largely driven by evolving government funding agency policies in the US and Europe.  Read more about open access."
