McLaughlin Library Welcomes Amy Buckland as Head of R&S | Library

"Building strong support for open access and author rights is at the top of Buckland’s to-do list upon her arrival to the U of G’s McLaughlin Library. Open access, simply put, is 'a way to make scholarly content as openly available as possible via the internet—without any paywalls or other restrictions,' said Buckland.

Open access is a mutually shared passion to Buckland and U of G’s McLaughlin Library. 'Scholarship is a public good, the public should have access to it,' said Buckland."
