Summary:
"The journal seeks to explore what engagement with research really means and features research that involves universities and communities, services or industries working together. In particular, it provides a critical reflection on how research can be initiated and applied in partnership with those not formally involved in the research community.
Research for All is a peer-reviewed journal that has been developed in partnership between the UCL Institute of Education and the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) in the UK, and published by IOE Press. The first issue includes a contribution in the form of a book review by VA’s Secretary General, Cissi Askwall, who is a member of the journal’s External Advisory Board. It also features practice-related articles on devices for engagement and participatory approaches as well as articles about changing people and institutions.
The journal, which is free to read online, includes contributions from a wide range of communities, industries, and organisations, as well as from different parts of the world. Contributions on engaged research for future issues are welcomed."
