"Tomorrow the University of Salerno will host the V edition of the International Open Data Day at UNISA, as part of initiatives for the Administration's Open Week # SAA2017, promoted by the Ministry of Public Administration. 

The event is organized by the Observatory on Communication from the Public Administration in Italy and Europe of the Department of Political Science, Social and Communication (which is responsible Daniela Velveteen), ISISLab by the research group of the Department of Computer Science (coordinated by Vittorio Scarano), leader of the project Horizon 2020 ROUTE-tO-PA, in collaboration with the group of communicators of the national System for environmental protection (SNPA), (represented by Marco Talluri, director of communications Arpa Toscana).  OpenGov: report data on waste is the theme of this year.  What data and what public communication tools for administrative transparency and accountability on waste management. How to promote citizen participation in the control of public spending and taxes on waste.These are the topics of the round table in the first part of the day, discussed by Giorgia Lodi (Agency for Digital Italy), Enrico Zotti (Ancitel), Michele Buonomo (President Legambiente Campania), Claudio Cesarano (Right to Know), moderate Rosy Battle, CittadiniReattivi association activist, author journalist investigation Waste of Italy.  The second part of the day will begin in the afternoon: for the schools of ASOC project 'A OpenCoesione School' and for those who register on the HTTS platform: // opendataday2017.eventbrite.com  there will be a workshop about using the SPOD platform developed in 'project scope ROUTE-tO-PA, to monitor, inform and dialogue with the PA; and how to access the data on waste of Commons managed by Mysir platform."
