"The first batch of titles from the KU Select 2016 collection has now been unlatched and can be downloaded by anyone, anywhere.
KU Select 2016 is a collection of 343 Humanities and Social Sciences titles from 54 publishers. Around 270 libraries and consortia throughout the world pledged their support to successfully fund Open Access versions of all of the titles.
In the first batch, 60 Humanities and Social Sciences e-books are now available for download as a PDF free of charge to the end user. Each title carries a Creative Commons licence agreed between the publisher and author, allowing for their book to become Open Access without embargo.
KU titles can be accessed on KU’s official hosts’ platforms: OAPEN and HathiTrust."
