"The Library organises two workshops on Open Educational Resources (OER) during the Open Education Week from March 27 to March 31.
Wageningen University & Research (WU) is expanding its open (and online) activities, and is sharing its knowledge on (online and) open education with enthusiasm and restraint. Therefore, WUR organises several activities during the Open Education Week 2017.
On March 28, 12:00 – 13:00, you are invited to join the interactive lecture on ‘Open Education at WUR’ by Ulrike Wild in the Speakers Corner (Impulse). In this lecture, you will be informed about the current situation from intention to reality. What have been the motives for Wageningen to join the coalition on Open Education and how do we translate that into policy, what are the current projects in which these ideas are brought to life and how do we see the future?

Finding Open Content for My Course
Open Educational Resources are any type of educational materials that are in the public domain or introduced with an open license. The nature of these open materials means that anyone can legally and freely copy, use, adapt and re-share them. Teaching is sharing. Sharing your course material is scary and takes some effort. Different platforms exist for sharing course material. In the workshop "Sharing Your Course Material in the Library for Learning", we will discuss and demonstrate the Library for Learning, which is especially made for teachers at Wageningen University & Research to find and share content.
