The Second Experts Meeting is being organized by the Division for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems, Unit for ICT in Education of the Education Sector, of UNESCO and it will convene OER experts from around the world. The two-day meeting is an integral part of UNESCO’s OER Programme, which advocates for the teaching and learning resources in any medium – digital or otherwise – that permit no-cost access, use, reuse and repurposing by other with no or limited restrictions. This Second Experts Meeting is a follow-up to the first Experts Meeting (November 2016) and aims to validate the core OER indicators, identify a first set of survey questions to be used for pilot testing the indicators in selected countries, and create a framework to present this project’s outcomes and goals to the 2nd World OER Congress that will be held in Slovenia on 17 – 20 September 2017."
