Um resumo do que aconteceu nos últimos oito meses – Open Knowledge Brasil

Summary:

From Google Translate: "The Open Knowledge Brazil (OKBR) seeks to build a more open, transparent, fair and collaborative society. And, at the same time, build an organizational model that will dialogue and be consistent with this mission and the challenges of the 21st century.

And it is in this path that we act. Eight months ago, with this focus, I accepted the challenge of being the executive director in the organization and, in a collaborative way, with OKBR advisers and community, we built partnerships, created and participated in actions and developed projects. It's been a very productive journey! And so we want to share a summary of that period.

First, in a collaborative way, we elaborate an essential document: the planning of the organization until 2018.

The priority initiatives will be:

  • Our participation in the national and subnational process (São Paulo) in #OGP ( Open Government Partnership );
  • The Open Gates project . More than 180 leaders from the most diverse regions of Brazil are playing a game to open the budget data of their cities. We also held the first course on Public Budget in partnership with ITS Rio .
  • In partnership with DAPP-FGV, we are building the Open Data Index in Brazil at the federal and local levels (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo). We will launch the results in April 2017;
  • We are designing and building a lean, intelligent structure for the organization that can provide the necessary support for projects and the community."
