Weiterbildungsangebote zum Thema OER in der Hochschullehre – OERsax

Summary:

From Google Translate: "The use of open educational resources promises a wide range of potential for university teachers. Above all, against the background of the latest developments in copyright law, OER can offer a real alternative to previously used sources and materials. But the use of OER in one's own doctrine also raises many questions of organizational, didactic and legal nature:

• Where can I find suitable materials?  • Are they really suitable for my teaching?  • Can I use all OER materials without restriction?

In the courses offered by the media center of the TU Dresden , first answers to these questions are to be given. The online self-learning module 'E-Teaching-Grundlagen' , which is offered as part of the e-Teaching certificate, is devoted to the topic OER in a small sub-chapter. It lists several repositories where you can find OER. You will also find out which criteria they can use to determine whether the materials are suitable for your course. We address the legal pitfalls in the use of OER in an e-lecture, which is offered in the course 'Legal aspects in e-learning' .

The offers can be accessed at any time via OPAL and free of charge. We are looking forward to many beneficiaries and hope, together with the OERsax project, to motivate more university teachers to use OER.

By the way: the courses of the media center are also under a CC license and thus support the OER idea."
