"The Springer Nature 'Hybrid OA Initiatives' department is responsible for developing and implementing a new institutional business-model, 'Compact', which combines our Open Access publishing options with Content Licensing options.

The Open Access Coordinator will oversee the customer support level standards and arrange that customer-specific requirements are met.

This is a great opportunity for a dedicated individual to be part of a cutting-edge, strategically highly important development that is still evolving and rapidly developing.

Your main tasks:

  • Act as the customer contact for workflow and reporting issues and queries
  • Regularly monitor the system and ensure compliance of the individual contracts
  • Coordinate timely and customized setup of new agreements
  • Create and analyze detailed article status reports and monitor agreed specifications and timeframes to ensure high-quality workflow and service standards
  • Create and adjust support documents for internal and external use
  • Communicate effectively with authors and institutions
  • Act as internal contact for, among others, customer services, editorial, controlling, production and vendors."
