"The Scholarly Communications Librarian will promote the university's institutional repository. Plan, implement, and assess FGCU's scholarly communications program. Partner with FGCU faculty and staff to collect, describe, and make accessible the university's intellectual assets. Provide outreach and consultations on depositing content, publishing options, author rights, copyright, and Open Access. Develop tools, guides, web resources, and services. Creates metadata for institutional repository and digital collections. Engages in service and scholarship; participates in assessment and continuous improvement of operations and services; and helps to shape department policy, goals, and procedures."
