OPERAS Newsletter

"Dear readers, Welcome to the first edition of the OPERAS newsletter. The OPERAS newsletter will be disseminated regularly every 2-3 months and will keep you updated about developments in the OPERAS research infrastructure, particularly about the project OPERAS-D (design for open access in the european research area through scholarly communication).

The Horizon2020 project OPERAS-D started in January 2017 and supports the 5 main partners (OPERAS “core group“) in the development of a European e-infrastructure for open access publications in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). At the same time, the project HIRMEOS (high integration of research monographs in the european open science infrastructure) took off. HIRMEOS will prototype and set up a common layer of added value services on top of existing e-publishing platforms for open access monographs.
