A scientific research organisation in south Oxfordshire is seeking a permanent Library and Information Services Manager.  In this Information Services Manager job you will be managing a small but dedicated team and reviewing the current library service. You will be responsible for the strategic management of the library including the budget and assessing the current service and any ways to improve what is offered. You will need to work closely with scientists and other key stakeholders to ensure the service being offered is effective and being utilised, you will also use this as an opportunity to promote the library, archives and records services offered by the information team.  As well as managing the library you will be the person responsible for the Archive and  Records Management, this will include providing guidance, interpretation of policies, and development of local policies in line with current legislation. As this is a research organisation there is also a responsibility for Open Access publishing and ensuring this is compliant."
