"In the near future all timetables and punctuality data in the network will also be freely available for urban railways. The Verkehrsverbund and Tarifverbund Stuttgart (VVS) according to own data shortly before the breakthrough for a portal with open traffic data. This is what VVS CEO Horst Stammler said. In 2017, all timetables and punctuality data of the vehicles were to be made available online in the VVS network, and a joint platform for Open Data was established with the four largest German public transport companies in Hamburg, Munich, Rhine-Main and Rhine-Ruhr. This is one-of-a-kind nationwide and would be a big step towards Open Data."
