Are you worried about having to pay fees to publish in open access journals? Do you know how to tell if a journal is legit or not? Mike Nason, Scholarly Communications Librarian, will explain how to avoid get scammed. Don’t give your wallet to the wallet inspector!

Part 2: Social Media for Researchers Presented by Ruth Collings Getting active on social media can improve your research’s reach, increase your professional network, and keep you up to date on the latest in your field. Ruth Collings, Science & Forestry Librarian, will provide a beginner’s how-to on getting started with various social media platforms and the best ways to use them to their fullest.

This session will be offered twice:

  • Wednesday, May 24th at 1:30pm – 3:00pm
  • Thursday, May 25th at 10:00am – 11:30am
