Kenya to host conference on agriculture, nutrition | News Ghana

"More than 1,000 experts and ministers from across the globe will in mid June attend a conference on agriculture and nutrition to help transform agriculture to spur inclusive growth, a minister said Wednesday.

The meeting on Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN), an initiative that seeks to support global efforts to make agricultural and nutritionally relevant data available for unrestricted use, will be held from June 14-16.

Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Willy Bett said the conference will present an opportunity for the G77 and African Union member states to improve the informational aspects of agriculture and nutrition in fulfilling common visions of agricultural growth and transformation."
