Summary:

"In support of UN Sustainable Development Goal 14 (#SDG14) "Life below water", and as The Ocean Conference takes place in New York 5-9 July, Projects FOSTER+SeaCHANGECOLUMBUS and Marie Curie Alumni Association are running an Open Science Clinique of Speed-Counciling for young researchers.

WHY DOES THE CLINIQUE SUPPORT UN #SGD14 ? The clinique focuses on how #OpenScience, #OceanLiteracy and #knowledgeexchange can boost impact of research and speed up solutions for #SocietalChallenges based on cutting edge research. Once way to achieve scale of concept, is to aspire to #OpenScience and #OceanLiteracy in every research grant that aims to contribute to #SDG14.

The Clinique will run 10am to 12pm for young researchers seeking to apply Open Science toward making their research grants (namely Marie Curie IF due 14 September) more competitive, and optimising the societal impact of their projects. Follow-up session in July and August can be organised based on sufficient demand.

HOW WILL THE CONSULTATIONS PROCEED? 1: Book a 20 min slot below, and invite "ivo_grigorov, copenhagen" via your Skype account. 2: Be ready to present the full range of research outputs of your proposed idea in less than 3 min (no slides!!!) 3: We spend the rest 17 min looking for specific solutions. We wont be able to fix everything, but hopefully you can get a start.

WHAT WILL ADVICE FOCUS ON? a) Open Science as part of state of the art reproducible methodology b) Open Science & Ocean Literacy as tools for outreach and IMPACT c) Knowledge Transfer following COLUMBUS Project methodology"
