"Apress, the computer science imprint of Springer Nature, recently partnered with web retailer Humble Bundle to create a charity promotion that has raised over $40,000. One of the charities receiving donations is the International Rescue Committee, which is a global nonprofit that provides aid to refugees in the US and abroad. The second beneficiary is the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a non-profit organization which defends civil liberties in the digital world. The donation will be announced in conjunction with World Refugee Day on 20 June 2017."
