Summary:

From Google Translate: "In order to increase the scope of the Open Data Index (ODI) in Brazil and, especially, to better understand the situation of transparency policies and data open in other Brazilian municipalities, the Public Policy Analysis Directorate of FGV (DAPP) and Open Knowledge Brazil (OKBR) are mapping groups of people and organizations interested in carrying out the survey in other municipalities.

The Brazilian editions of ODI were launched between April and May of this year. Based on the  joint work between DAPP and OKBR , three surveys were carried out for the country: the Open Data Index (ODI) Brazil, at the national level, and ODI São Paulo and ODI Rio de Janeiro, at the municipal level. These last two indexes are part of a pioneering initiative, since, for the first time, Brazil had local ODIs, besides the survey at the federal level."
