Summary:

  1. "Conducts outreach efforts targeting faculty, students, and staff in the School of Business, UConn Entrepreneurship & Innovation Consortium, and other University centers, institutes, and programs within the field of business. 
  2. Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of constituents’ needs to develop collaborations and innovative services designed to promote resources, products, tools, and opportunities that foster learning, research, publication, and scholarship.
  3. Applies a thorough knowledge of current pedagogical approaches in order to create effective in-person and virtual learning experiences.
  4. Works closely with constituents to enhance understanding of scholarly communication, including: contemporary research, scholarship, publication, author rights, open access, open educational resources, fair use, and data management through informational consultations, educational workshops and seminars, and independent learning objects.
  5. Applies a thorough knowledge of current information resources in business and collaborates with Library colleagues and faculty on collection development decision making.
  6. Participates in the Library’s in-person and virtual reference services. 
  7. Initiates and participates in product and service assessments and provides statistics and other data to support decision making.
  8. Participates in scholarly and professional activities to maintain a thorough knowledge of and competency in the tools and skills of professional librarianship, may necessitate participation in professional organizations at the University, regional, or national level.
  9. Maintains a current knowledge of Library and University policies and procedures affecting public service operations. 
  10. Travel required to support business efforts across UConn campuses."
