- "Conducts outreach efforts targeting faculty, students, and staff in the School of Business, UConn Entrepreneurship & Innovation Consortium, and other University centers, institutes, and programs within the field of business.
- Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of constituents’ needs to develop collaborations and innovative services designed to promote resources, products, tools, and opportunities that foster learning, research, publication, and scholarship.
- Applies a thorough knowledge of current pedagogical approaches in order to create effective in-person and virtual learning experiences.
- Works closely with constituents to enhance understanding of scholarly communication, including: contemporary research, scholarship, publication, author rights, open access, open educational resources, fair use, and data management through informational consultations, educational workshops and seminars, and independent learning objects.
- Applies a thorough knowledge of current information resources in business and collaborates with Library colleagues and faculty on collection development decision making.
- Participates in the Library’s in-person and virtual reference services.
- Initiates and participates in product and service assessments and provides statistics and other data to support decision making.
- Participates in scholarly and professional activities to maintain a thorough knowledge of and competency in the tools and skills of professional librarianship, may necessitate participation in professional organizations at the University, regional, or national level.
- Maintains a current knowledge of Library and University policies and procedures affecting public service operations.
- Travel required to support business efforts across UConn campuses."
